Payment and Insurance
Payment is due at each session. Dr. Brosky does not subscribe to
any managed care or insurance plans or their panels, and therefore
is considered an “out-of-network” provider. If you have insurance
coverage for the services provided by Dr. Brosky, you are expected
to pay at the time of service. She will give you a billing
statement with the necessary information required by insurance
companies, which you can submit to your insurance company for
reimbursement.
To find out how much your insurance company will reimburse you, Dr.
Brosky recommends that you contact the insurance company in advance
and ask how much it will reimburse you for the specific service you
are seeking; for example, individual therapy or couples therapy. It
also is recommended you ask your insurer the percentage of the
psychologist’s fee it will reimburse, if there is a deductible, and
the number of sessions allowed under your plan.
